I'm volunteering with one of my professors researching the history of the birth control pill, in addition to trying to complete my extensive summer reading list.

In other news, is anyone else effing IN LOVE with that Greyson Chance kid who did the cover of Gaga's Paparazzi? I usually don't blog all that often anyway...
2. I have strep throat
3. We found an appartment! If everything works out I will be moving out July 1.
4. I have two jobs now so... yeah.

I actually wore this outfit I think last week but I haven't taken any outfit pics since then. I loooove this outfit, mainly because everything was so cheap! Hehe

T-Shirt: (customized?)American Apparel via Goodwill, $1.99
Skirt: Club Monaco, $16 (sale + student discount)
Shoes: Payless, $11
Earrings: Vintage from my aunt's friend, Freeeeee

The shirt's tag says American Apparel but I've never seen shirts like this in the store so I'm guessing someone applied this stereo design themselves?

I still have no appetite (eating hurts like a mofo), but I decided I could handle some cheerios so my dad went to get me some :) He just go back so I'm off to nom some cheerios and watch more Real Housewives!

Love Always,
AmyAmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05017884451985737570noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1151789286161725224.post-83947683343240713192010-05-02T20:27:00.001-07:002010-05-02T21:02:03.797-07:00You got a lotta lotta nerve...I'm finally done school for the summer. 4 solid months of reading for pleasure instead of research, sleeping whenever I feel like it, and watching Jersey Shore and Real Housewives without feeling guilty because I should be studying.

Here's what I wore to my last exam friday afternoon.

Dress: thrifted, $7
Belt: thrifted, $2
Fringe boots: Spring

This dress is an absolutely amazing find. It appears to be handmade and the detail work and fabric quality is just astounding and pictures can't do it justice. Obviously it is veeery short though so I had to wear black opaque tights. So short in fact that both my T.A. and Nathan's vocal coach complimented me on my "shirt". Oh well.

I'm not gonna lie, it took guts to wear this super-short, supper voluminous dress on a regular day. However, it is remarkably comfortable and the huge sleeves make it really... breezy? hah. And anyway, most of the time I really, reeeaaally don't care what other people think so that wasn't the issue. The only thing I was worried about was fitting the sleeves into a coat, but luckily it was warm enough that day that I didn't need one :)

These pictures may or may not have been taken after a few glasses of champagne...

Love Always,
AmyAmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05017884451985737570noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1151789286161725224.post-37284980443147854212010-04-28T20:42:00.000-07:002010-04-29T07:58:15.486-07:00Feature: Young Captive Vintage on Etsy!I've recently taken to trolling etsy endlessly instead of studying. For those of you who don't know, Etsy.com is an online marketplace where sellers can list either handmade or vintage items for sale. Though especially when looking for vintage items one comes across some questionable prices and styles, I've managed to find some fabulous shops with great prices and amazing items.

One of these shops is <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/youngcaptive"target=new>Young Captive Vintage based out of Montreal. Young Captive offers extremely reasonable prices for their amazing finds, and I couldn't help but support my fellow Canadians! I'd like to take a moment to post some of my favourites from Young Captive. Please note that this is not a sponsored post and I was not compensated: I just felt that I recieved excellent service from this shop and wanted to spread the love!

Fancy Lady White Peeptoes with Bows, size 6, $20
Anyone who knows me knows I adore bows. these shoes are absolutely perfect, except I'm unfortunately not a size 6. Are you??

Polka Dot Party Day Dress, $24
What a perfect dress! I love the colours, and of course, the fact that you can tie the necktie into a bow ;)

Shiny Patent Vintage Doctor Bag, $21
Perfect shape, perfect size, perfect colour, perfect bag!

Young Captive's owner Olivia also makes hilariously aborable "handmade angsty felt dolls" <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/oliviaew"target=new>sold here. My favourite is this Lady Gaga Brooch:

K-kinda Busy brooch, $10

So here's a little link re-cap for you all. Here's what I wore to go thrifting and to work...

Shirt: American Apparel (v.old)
Skirt: Jacob
Fringe boots: Spring
Bag: GAP

I will miss my back yard when I move out in a few months. It doesn't look like much now, but my parents spend 80% of their time in the summer gardening and whatnot and the rock garden you seen behind me turns into a flowery utopia. There's also a deck and gazebo thingy.

I really don't like taking pictures in the living room but I was in a rush and felt like the neighboors were staring at me outside...

I really felt like wearing a dress yesterday, but it's important to wear separates for thrifting. Some dressing rooms dont have mirrors inside and you have to step outside and if you're trying on a shirt you need something on your butt!

Love Always,
AmyAmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05017884451985737570noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1151789286161725224.post-19313217494442828112010-04-12T21:04:00.001-07:002010-04-12T21:34:27.184-07:00Tell me what i wanna hearI am so tired right now that i typed blooger.com into my nav bar TWICE before realizing my mistake. I'm sure other "bloogers" can relate?

Anyway blah blah blah my usual ranting about schoolwork, etc. In an exciting life development that no one on the internet will care about but I will talk about anyway, I have decided to persue my Master's degree directly after I finish my undergrad (I had originally planned to complete my masters and possibly PhD later in life). If everything goes according to plan, I will complete my masters by the time I'm 24-ish. Crazy! I'm excited. I love learning so much (*nerd alert*) and I love having, you know, hopes and dreams. Because some people don't have those. I didn't for a long time. It's a good feeling to have them now. /end sentimental nerdy moment.

Here is a random mish-mash of pictures from the last week or so...

Nathan bought me these flowers even though carnations are my least favourite flower. But he knew I'd like these for the colour and because for some reason they don't look like normal carnations. He was so right :) Manly intuition? hehe

Today I wore red (coral earrings) and purple. I've never been one to be adventurous with colour (and I am aware that this little pairing is far from 'adventurous' for most people) but I really like this.

Remember a few posts ago when I said I wanted those noise-blocking headphones? I got some! They're not the best so I may get different ones, but check out how awesomely dorky they are:

PS this face is very typical for me after midnight. At a certain hour of the evening I turn into a pouty five-year old. This also often happens mid-afternoon after a big mean (nap time, obviously)

OM NOM NOM. Loooove 50% off after-easter candy sales! I'm gonna save some mini eggs so i'll have them in October and confuse people.

Love Always,
AmyAmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05017884451985737570noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1151789286161725224.post-91005923830803507102010-04-08T20:15:00.000-07:002010-04-08T20:30:46.352-07:00My kind of inspiration
Dita Von Teese in a GORGEOUS sundress. <a href="http://suicideblonde.tumblr.com"target=new>image via

Kate Winslet has been hands-down my favourite actress of all time since I watched Titanic on VHS when I was 8 or 9. I've got one more paper to write (History of Immigration) and then exams and then FREEDOM.

This weekend the weather was amazing in my city. Nathan and I went for a picnic on at the beach on friday, and besides all the shirtless fat men it was really lovely. I wore my new favourite dress:

Dress: French Connection via Winners. $20-freaking-bucks (!!!)
White shrug: Old Navy several thousand years ago
Flip Flops: Old Navy

If you haven't noticed I'm not big on footwear. I can deal with a lot of confining clothing and whatnot but my shoes HAVE to be comfy. Esp. in the summer.

Chillin' with a willow tree

Aldo sunglasses & huge-ass awesome tree stump. Oh man I LOVE this dress. I don't know if you can tell from the pictures, but there is this see-through weave pattern around the waist and on the straps. Plus it's so beautifully structured and fits perfectly. I can now die happy as long as I die in this dress.

I realize that from these pictures it doesn't look like we were at a beach lol. I guess i forgot to take pics of the water but whatever, it's Canada & not at all impressive. Plus we were mostly in the woodsy/swampy back area away from all the screaming children and various flying sports equiptment.

Love Always,
Amy

title song: So Long, Astoria by The AtarisAmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05017884451985737570noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1151789286161725224.post-65273004309859018472010-03-22T05:54:00.000-07:002010-03-22T06:01:32.781-07:00It's good to be in loveI haven't really posted any pics of my boyfriend yet and he looked amazing the other day so we took some pictures!

He thrifted the jacket! My damn glasses broke. Of course I didn't have a spare. Of course the broke at 8:15 when Lenscrafters closes at 9 and therefore cant make them 'til the next day. Of course I have 10873298 more important things to worry about than broken freakin' glasses. The frame broke, so there's no way my old ones could be fixed. Farewell my gorgeous D&Gs... you have seen many an adventure.

I have really terrible vision so I need to wear my glasses all the time or else I get headaches. Here's the outfit I wore to pick up my new glasses. You can't see, but I had taped the arm of my old glasses on...

Sweater: Jacob
Pencil skirt: Nine West, thrifted
Tights: Accessorize
Shoes: Mom's closet.
Ring & earrings: the stone is Malachite and they're from local jewellery stores

Here are my new glasses... They're Ray Bans and I think they're called the New Wayfarer or something. For some reason they're huge on me (which I love, btw) and make me feel kiiiiinda dorky but I like it.

The cool thing about these is they work with multiple facial expressions/emotions...The above was "staring lovingly at a cookie"

"What do you mean I had to buy new glasses? My current fav was purchased the summer before tenth grade (2005, ya'll) at an fc.UK outlet. I still love this bag, it is perfect for me, but it is understandably falling apart after being hauled through highschool and two years of university.

I am more picky about handbags than probably anything else in my life, even food! I've had maybe 6 or 7 purses that i've used regularly over my lifetime. I scavenge through Winners weekly, plus all other stores in the mall, thrift stores, and consignment stores. NOTHING fits my specifications. I want solid colour, STRUCTURED with an overall square-ish or rectangular-ish shape, no or minimal details such as studs or zippers, no obnoxious brand names or logos, and no draw-strings, quite large in size (has to be able to hold my clipboard for school, water bottle, and at least 4 snacks), and the list goes on.

So far the only two bags I have found (Literally the ONLY TWO. IN OVER A YEAR OF LOOKING) are Coach bags and obviously wayyyy out of my price range. Both of the below bags are priced around $400 if I remember correctly. Would anyone pay that for a 17-year old boy who drinks his weight in orange juice every week?

Part of the "Madison" collection available from <a href="http://coach.com"target=new>Coach.
Drool. Absolutely perfect in every single way. Obviously has a tiny logo, but it's the Coach logo so it's lovely :) I don't like their bags that have the C's all over them, though.

This is the "Large Kristin" bag from <a href="http://coach.com"target=new>Coach.
Beautiful colour. I would use both of these bags until I died.

Image via google.

On a more practical note, I'm very, very easily irritated and repetitive sounds or conversations on buses or even 5 seconds of whispering in the library can literally ruin my life for the next few hours. I really need to get me some of these noise-blocking earphones (you know, the ones construction workers often use?). Even if no one will buy my brother and I have to pay for these out-of-pocket, it'll be worth it when I can't hear his tv from the next room with these babies on.

Love Always,
AmyAmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05017884451985737570noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1151789286161725224.post-17327741584516773822010-02-26T20:42:00.000-08:002010-02-26T21:12:16.200-08:00They hear we got swaggerYou know those days you feel a little bit like a complete wreck but then your outfit makes you feel great and you totally and completely forget that you're fooling everyone into thinking you're chic because you're actually a mess who writes non-sensical blog posts around midnight on a friday night? However, I've seen the Disney cartoon version of Alice in Wonderland and the whimsy of the franchise has always appealed to me.

Even though I never liked the book enough to get anywhere near through it, here's why I know I'll like the Tim Burton adaptation:

1. I like Tim Burton shit.
2. I've never not liked anything Johnny Depp has been in, or even been NEAR (including street dirt, lamposts, etc.)
3. Helena Bonham Carter freaks the shit out of me for some reason (probably because I'm a huge Potter nerd and she played Bellatrix Lestrange, who I consider to be even freakier than Voldemort), but she completely captivates and intrigues me.
4. 3D movies in general are THE BOMB (I pity anyone who didn't get to see Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D. I liked it more than "Up")
5. The OPI limited edition nailpolishes rock my world

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 261px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXXyyRF6D0xcZXlUb5VhJ0kMXr_WzIsCyCsQsqNtUAHMsyieYOA0711kZ4OQ2EYos7iIsuW5lxGAmU2UlL1DztbRY3xoNDHn873PnuU2wa9FdsIL0qW28ycJJraKSsNjC6F4s5Jyz2Qeg/s400/opi-alice-in-the-wonderland.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5439399743938060114" />
Opi's Alice in Wonderland collection. I've been waiting to get my hands on them for a little over a week now, and today i finally nabbed the last bottles of both from a random hole-in-the-wall hair salon at the mall. I flipped a shit and basically told the salon lady that she had made me the happiest person in the world. I've seriously been dreaming about my nails being "Alice" blue.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-n3yTvLr3eBKecZ6_mVqzX4uj9gWnYf0xTE7wfyyEBE6JHzKWdh9IKfAkVYRmNmxDNeiHgpTRbe6E4npOYI6WATuosBPaAiMn5VSsI9GnEIaS_FPPlBEETJQd6oFK7MHmIFlkf84_7Hg/s400/nailz+014.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5439401299833476082" />

Can't wait to try my Mad as a Hatter polish, too. I got them at Aldo in 2007!

I've acquired stupid amounts of new clothing this month due to boxing day sales and now the january "sidewalk sales". Just this week, I got two blazers, one for $4 and one for $14, a bow miniskirt from walmart for $5, yet another cardigan, some tanks and tees, more jewellery, and this wicked soft studded sweater:

I wanted it when it was $80. My bad. I've been busy looking for yet another job (the first one I got after my old one closed down wasn't giving me hours) and hanging out with my cousins. It's been unnaturally warm for the past few days here, so I've been taking advantage of it by wearing loose, thin fabrics and SKIRTS!

Belted tunic: Winners, $11
Denim Leggings: Garage, $20

Aaaand here's what I wore to school on friday:

Cardigan: Suzy Shier
Tank top: Jacob, $9
Skirt: Jacob, $30
Walmart tights
Shoes: Aldo, Gift from Bf
Pearls: Great-grandmother's

The best thing about this skirt are the huge pockets!

Just a little FYI: I post the prices of my clothes when I remember them. I do this to demonstrate that it is possible to have a wardrobe you love that you can also afford. For the past few years, I have not bought a single item of clothing over $40 (footwear included for the most part!), so even if i don't post a price because i've forgotten it, rest assured that I didn't pay more than 40 bones for it. 'Cause that's just how I roll.

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions about the vintage jewellery! Though I don't really have time to open an etsy shop right now, I may in the future :) I also liked Kasmira's idea about a contest, so I'll get thinking about that, too.

Love Always,
Amy

Ps: <a href="http://twitter.com/lovealways_amy"target=new>Follow me on Twitter!Amyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05017884451985737570noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1151789286161725224.post-3622534477307478352010-01-13T19:00:00.000-08:002010-01-13T19:18:03.280-08:00If you're crazy, I don't care, you amaze meI recently recieved a huge basket of vintage costume jewellery from a friend of my aunts. It's mostly eighties-looking which a few more subtle pieces that probably came from the seventies. I wore my two favourite pieces today: a gold-toned whistle necklace (the whistle totally works!) and pearly earrings rimmed with delicate gold.

[Jacob emerald cardigan and American Apparel white v-neck]

I'm running out of my Chance by Chanel perfume but I decided to wear it today anyway after taking this picture.

I'm thinking of selling some of the vintage jewellery simply because there is too much of it for me to ever get around to wearing. Does anyone have an opinion about the best way to sell something like that? Etsy? on this blog? Let me know in the comments, Please!

Love Always,
Amy

Title song: Whistle for the Choir by The FratellisAmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05017884451985737570noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1151789286161725224.post-88854267386274726122010-01-07T20:12:00.000-08:002010-01-07T20:34:00.875-08:00This is my world, and I'm taking it back2010 has sucked so far, you guys. First of all, I was having the best New Years Eve ever... until my boyfriend and I got food poisoning. I rang in 2010 with vomit (Too much information? Whatever, this isn't even the bad part.)

Then, the owners of the store I work at showed up and closed the store down without giving us any notice. My manager got a call ten p.m. on Sunday night telling her she didn't have to come into work the next day. We also don't know if they're even paying us for the last two weeks (a.k.a. the busiest two weeks of the year, which include two holiday pay days, time-and-a-half for boxing day, and in which I worked approximately seventy hours). Luckily, because I had management experience I was able to get a new job quickly, but I'm not gaurenteed the amount of hours I need at this new job. Lame.

Plus I had to buy a seventy-five dollar PAPERBACK (like, 150 pages max) textbook. 2010. sucks.

End rant. For now.

Good things that have happened recently:
(I'm trying to be more positive, you see. However, this is not me "looking on the bright side" or any of that crap, this is more like a "reasons to not sit around and eat ice cream & sulk all day" list)

1. My neighbors had a baby!
2. My classes this semester should be really interesting
3. I scored Cake hand lotion at Winners for super cheap
4. I scored many, many other things on boxing day sales for super cheap
5. I have this weekend off since my new job doesn't start for a little while, which will quite literally be my first weekend off since I was sixteen.
6. Jeggings were one of the things I got on boxing day sale for super cheap:

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJnXwORcF-osmmVLsecWMOSDSkCE9VPFEoBFXi_7rX6R97SWG0q6i34OHzQJemzakpcAlFOwqRw4s7OemUXjreOhXk6eTdM9tDP7xIofjC-aPMIjHC4DXFuufnZUiQHg3cOwkA90Y_p60/s400/jan7+015.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5424220655093256050" />

This is me trying to show how comfortable/stretchy they are. I freaking love these things. No one can tell they are jeggings because they look and feel just like real jeans unless
a) you are the one wearing their awesome-ness, or
b) you lift up your shirt to show people the elastic waist when they don't believe you are wearing jeggings.

[Jeggings and drape-y cardi arefrom Garage, shirt from a consignment store]

Love Always,
AmyAmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05017884451985737570noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1151789286161725224.post-16431962178329160952009-12-26T20:04:00.000-08:002009-12-26T20:24:35.626-08:00All seem to say throw cares awayHope everyone is having a good holiday season :) This Xmas was pretty great, I got awesome presents and had a generally enjoyable experience for my last Christmas while living at home.

This is the BF and I before the unfortunately obligatory church services of Xmas eve. (Last time i have to sit through those! YES!)
I'm wearing a Jacob sweater, Nine West skirt, Winners boots, and the belt from my silk bathrobe.

My parents gave me $$, and all these books that I had asked for. I've already started to read most of them. My brother gave me a iron for when I move out in a few months (very good, i love practicality), however he also gave me a four-foot tall teddy bear (probably will end up giving that to neighboor's newborn baby).

My boyfriend's present was really fantastic. He gave me a cold-day survival kit. There is cookie mix, tea, warm socks (pictured above), Seasons 1 & 2 of "The Secret Diary of a Call Girl" (pictured above), a massage coupon, and an electric blanket. Basically everything you need to stop me from busting out the five-year-old attitude and fussiness when i get cold, hungry, or bored.

I have three glorious days off next week, which will be nice since i worked full-time this week. I need to read all my new books before school starts up again!

Love Always,
AmyAmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05017884451985737570noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1151789286161725224.post-51074572347703599362009-12-18T18:24:00.000-08:002009-12-18T18:50:21.586-08:00Calling out WinterTomorrow morning is my last exam. Thankfully. I'm seriously about to die of stress. My friend made me a cookie in the shape of the male reproductive anatomy today, though, so that was pretty excellent.

Sweater: Goodwill, $5
Jeans: Joe Fresh via Goodwill, $3
Two pairs of Icebreaker merino wool socks: Free courtesy of BF's job

Not only was my outfit today ridiculously cheap, it was also super warm. I looked at the temperature this morning (-23 celcius: COLD) and nearly had a panic attack. Can you believe I went through the last two winters with only a fall jacket from Suzy Shier? This year i got a heavy wool coat (Thifted Jordache for $14. I kid you not) and scored some super warm socks from the BFs work so it's been easier to cope with the temperatures.

Details of the sweater embellishment. I've been wanting a beaded or sequined sweater forever and finally found this one a few weeks ago. I took out the shoulder pads and shrunk it in the dryer.

Lately I Am...
Eating: I've had six pieces of raisin bread toast with cream cheese today. It's exam period, what can I say?
Drinking: Coffee, coffee, tea, and more coffee
Listening to: Lots of Anna Nalick, Gaga, and random pop songs like Jordin Sparks' "Battlefield" and Justin Bieber's "Love Me"
Researching: The origins, development, and role of feudalism in medieval society
Reading (book variety): "The Less Noble Sex" by Nancy Tuana for my exam tomorrow. If you're interested in the origins of female oppression (I'm talking biblical and Aristotalian arguments), get this book!
Reading (blog variety): I recently discovered <a href="http://sarahclarkegaudet.blogspot.com/"target=new>Small Town Chic

Wish me luck on this exam! Ready?

"If they tell you you're too big for a woman, tell them
you're just too big for your skin.
Tell them
a body just can't hold all this beauty.
Tell them
they only wish they had hills and valleys like the earth...
They will never see the life in your hands and you can never expect them to understand."
-Spoken-word artist Desdamona. Though it's important to remember that we are not in a position to judge cultural practices often seen by Westerners as "oppressive" (i.e. the wearing of the hijab by Muslim women: it's something many women choose to wear!), Female Genital Mutilation is fundamentally dangerous to women's health. <a href="http://www.unfpa.org/gender/practices1.htm"target=new>Learn more here.

And now for something a bit less heavy and more just pretty: <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXtVBJDPs6k"target=new>Jon Schmidt's beautiful arrangement/mash-up of Love Story and Viva La Vida!

<a href="http://www.regretsy.com/2009/12/10/lolcat-scan/"target=new>LOLcats meets Regretsy! My life is complete.

I want to make <a href="http://www.kraftcanada.com/en/recipes/mint-chocolate-truffle-cookies-88449.aspx"target=new>these. Bellinis all around!

Don't forget to <a href="http://twitter.com/lovealways_amy"target=new>follow me on twitter, guys!

Love Always,
AmyAmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05017884451985737570noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1151789286161725224.post-90723025586976154532009-12-10T16:43:00.000-08:002009-12-10T17:08:36.109-08:00Somehow your life gets written on your face
<a href="http://fuckyeahmarilynmonroe.tumblr.com/"target=new>Image credit

Inspired by <a href="http://www.yesandyes.org/2009/12/list-book-for-you.html"target=new>Sarah's post about a book of lists, I decided to write my own list, as suggested by the book and noted in Sarah's post. I love lists.

Thing's I'm glad I did

1. Make coffee tonight, or else I'd be asleep right now.

2. Go to university. I wouldn't have even applied if my dad hadn't done it for me, but I am so glad I'm at university, studying things I am passionate about, and I am so grateful for the opportunity.

3. Harrass Nathan until he finally admitted he liked me & asked me to prom. It's a long story, but the moral is that we're still together a year and a half later.

4. Make a bunch of huge mistakes and go through a lifetime's worth of crappy things in highschool. It's all behind me now and I'm free to live happily ever after. I hope.

5. Teach myself guitar way before it was cool for girls to play guitar. I recieved my guitar in fifth or sixth grade and was super pissed because I had wanted a bubble chair (remember those?). I slowly taught myself through middle school and highschool though, and now there is almost nothing more satisfying than being able to play my favourite songs on an instrument I never thought I'd like or be able to learn.

This list only scratches the surface, but I didn't want to get too personal. Now, you have to tell me. What are you glad you did?

Title song: "Sunday Dress" by DalaAmyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05017884451985737570noreply@blogger.com5
